McDreamy says the firing is “too bad.”

Rumor has it that Brooke was ousted because of her character’s developing same-sex relationship with “Dr. Callie Torres,” played by Sara Ramirez.

“ABC’s response … is that [I] should say: ‘We’ve had a great time working with her and that the conclusion of her [character] has been orgasmic’ — I’m sorry, I’m dyslexic! — ‘organic’ ending to the story line,’“ Patrick told Ellen DeGeneres on an episode of her talk show airing on Wednesday.

“I think her story line has come to an end,” Patrick tells Ellen. “Thursday night is her last show, which is too bad, she has been a great character, and I don’t know what happened with that story line. They decided not to continue it for some reason.”

Dr. McDreamy joins the rank of Oscar winners Jennifer Hudson and Reese Witherspoon as the latest celebrity to front a fragrance for Avon. The Grey’s Anatomy star hassigned on for a multi-year contract, estimated between $5-$6 million, to launch his own men’s fragrance for the cosmetics giant next November.

“We are thrilled to partner with Patrick Dempsey—an incredibly accomplished actor who has achieved such broad appeal because of his genuine authenticity, charisma and style. This will be arguably the strongest franchise in the company’s history,” Avon CEO Andrea Jung (Pictured Above) says.

And forty-two year old Patrick sounds equally pleased to be joining the Avon family, saying in a statement on Monday:

Patrick Dempsey has blasted his blockbuster medical drama “boring.” The former ’80’s era heart throb is rumored to blame slack storylines for the series’ sagging ratings. (That comment isn’t going to go over too well with the already pissed off television writers of America.)

“Last season was boring,” Patrick is quoted as reportedly telling an American tabloid. “It’s time for the writers to take a look at things and find some new paths for these characters. It was too repetitive for me.”

Patrick has suggested inflicting Meredith with another health scare and tossing in a fling with newcomer Nurse Rose to keep Grey’s “more interesting and compelling.”

After losing People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive title to Matt Damon, Patrick Dempsey has been crowned the People Magazine: Star of the Year.

Enchanted star Patrick Dempsey is in the market for a new nickname-McDemanding. The Versace Men’s Spring/Summer 2008 spokesmodel has been creating havoc on the set of Grey’s Anatomy-he’s currently demanding a larger dressing room, Voss bottled water, and a menu of organic eats.

“He used to be a nice, down-to-earth guy,” an ABC snitch spills to Star Magazine.

“Now that he’s so popular, McDreamy has become really McDemanding. He’s acting like a prima donna, and the other cast members don’t like it.”

“He won’t drink any kinds of bottled water but Voss.”

The eighties-era teen heartbreaker is now lobbying for a larger trailer:

“He wants a larger air-conditioned trailer with a wide-screen TV. He wants something where he can bring his kids.”

Patrick Dempsey will debut as the face of Versace Men’s Spring/Summer 2008 ad campaign in February.

Grey’s Anatomy star forty-one year old Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jillian welcomed twin boys on Thursday in Los Angeles.

The boys, Darby Galen and Sullivan Patrick, were born in Los Angeles. The twins bring the total of kids to three for the family of “Dr. McDreamy-” P.D&J already have a four year old daughter, Talula.

The couple met in 1994 when P.D came into Jillian’s salon for a haircut-she is now the owner of a cosmetics line. They have been married since 1999.
