Paris Hilton has reached a plea deal with prosecutors stemming from her September 7th arrest for driving erratically with a blood alcohol level of .08.
P.H entered a plea of no contest today on a charge of reckless driving. She was placed on thirty-six months probation, and must also pay a fine of $390 and attend an alcohol education program.
P.H has been spending the last few night hanging out with baby sis, Nicky, but on February 5th, the hotel heiress will be dancing the day away in a courtroom.
Paris is being sued by model Zeta Graff in a $10 million libel suit. The suit claims that Paris made statements to the press accusing Z of beating her down in a London hotspot and calling her a thief by claiming that she tried to steal the heiress’ $4 million necklace.
Paris former boss, Club Paris owner, Fred Khalilian, has been called as a witness against Paris:
“The problem is when she is done with you, she chews you and spits you out. When she is done with you’re out. The people around her get so star struck because she is so powerful presentation wise.”
Fred fired Paris last week as a promoter for his upscale establishment.
New York City sources are snitching that R&B “singer” Ray-J (baby brother of singer Brandy) may have a sex tape for sale.
Ray-J is supposedly trying to market a sex tape featuring Nicole Ritchie’s replacement as Paris Hilton’s best friend, Kim Kardashian, as the star. Kim’s Camp is screaming that no sex tape exists. Ray-J briefly dated Kim, who has also been romantically linked to Nick Cannon and The Game.
“It’s your typical graphic sex tape,” says the snitch alleged to have taped it. But he does dish that “there’s a golden shower at the end…”
Your past does have a way of catching up on you at one point or another. Ask Paris Hilton, who had a hearing the other at the Los Angeles County courthouse. This is definitely one babe whose name you will always see in the entertainment section of newspapers and magazines. This time, the reason for the focus on her is the fact that she was arrested last September 7, 2006 for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Based on police reports, she caught the attention of some Los Angeles Police Department officers around 12:31 AM in September of last year when she drove her Mercedes McLaren SLR erratically. It seemed that the officers saw some signs of intoxication so they gave her a field sobriety test. Unfortunately for Hilton, she got a .08. In the state of California, this figure is the minimum amount of alcohol present in the blood that would be considered as driving under the influence of alcohol.
As such, she was immediately taken to a police station and booked. Her court date the other day was the first hearing for this case. Paris Hilton, however, was not present and had her attorney represent her. On her behalf, the attorney pleaded not guilty to the charges against her. She has another court date on the 23rd of January.
Will she be cleared of this glitch this time? I honestly do not know. If we were to base everything on her reputation, then probably not. Then again, the courts are supposed to be free from such biases, aren’t they?
