Ozzy Osbourne isn’t giving up on his dream of having Oscar-nominated actor Johnny Depp play him in a big screen biopic. The Black Sabbath legend is hoping to have his new memoir — I Am Ozzy — turned into a film and the singer wants Johnny Depp to play the lead.
Did you know that Ozzy Osbourne was once diagnosed HIV positive? The results were wrong, of course, but the Black Sabbath legend was told he had contracted the deadly virus, until further investigation revealed the results were due to the damage drug and alcohol abuse had caused.
“When I used to get fucking loaded I would get myself into all kinds of situations,” Ozzy explains in an interview with the November issue of Glamour UK. “It turns out that because I was drinking and using drugs so much, my immune system had dropped so that it was a borderline result. When I went back to be tested again it was negative.”
