On Monday, Sept. 21, the Queen of Talk will take a trip back to the 1960s as Jon Hamm and January Jones of the hot AMC series Mad Men stop by for a visit, AMC revealed on Thursday. The episode will feature a ’60s themed set, a studio audience dressed in vintage costumes, and a performance by the Jersey Boys.
O will also unveil her “Favorite Things” from the 1960s.
Whitney Houston says ex-husband Bobby Brown was emotionally abusive during their 14 year marriage and at one point slapped and spit on her.
On Monday, Whitney — who is staging a career comeback with the release of her album in 7 years, I Look To You – told Oprah that the crooner wasn’t physically abusive but that “he slapped me once but he got hit on the head three times by me.”

Oprah Winfrey has addressed her recent controversy with disgraced R&B crooner Chris Brown.
The singer, who pleaded guilty to one count of assault over beating Rihanna in the early hours of February 8, and was sentenced to community labor and domestic counseling, recently suggested the talk show host could have been more supportive of him following the incident.
“I commend Oprah on being like, ‘This (abuse) is a problem’, but it was a slap in my face. I did a lot of stuff for her, like going to Africa and performing for her school. In a two-day TV event beginning Monday, Sept. 14, The Queen of Talk sits down with Whitney for a “jaw-dropping, open, honest and candid” conversation about her 14-year marriage to Bobby Brown, drugs, rehab and her journey back from near disaster.

“I’m gonna get killed for this, but I’ll tell you anyway,” Hov reveals in a new interview for the October issue of Oprah Magazine. “There’s a great pizza spot we go to every Sunday. It’s our tradition. It’s a small place in Brooklyn, you can bring your own wine, and there are candles there. It’s a nice date.”

Dr. Phil McGraw is scheduled to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show for the first time since launching his own daytime talk show under Winfrey’s Harpo fold in 2002.
“Tell It Like It Is Phil” will join the cast of Oprah’s 24th season premiere week Thursday, Sept. 17.

On Wednesday, Harpo Productions announced that the entire Sept. 16 edition of The Oprah Winfrey Show will feature excerpts from the Queen of Talk’s historic 1993 interview with hitmaker Michael Jackson — who died of a drug overdose is his Los Angeles mansion June 25. His death has been ruled a homicide.
