Oops….they did it again!

Forbes released their list of the highest-paid women n the world and there are some pretty common names at the top of the list. Lady O, Oprah Winfrey, topped the list earning a cool, $165 million between May 2011 and May 2012. Second place, over $100 million behind Winfrey was the new Queen of X Factor, Brittney Spears. Country/Pop princess, Taylor Swift, rounded out the top three earning $57 million (And earning honors as the youngest woman, just 22, on the list.) Read the rest of this entry »

We keep hearing about all the financial struggles plaguing Oprah’s groundbreaking television network.

Thankfully for the Queen of Talk, ratings haven’t impacted her checking account.

Oprah still raked in fistfuls of dough ($165 million, if you want to get technical…) between May 2011 to May 2012, according to Forbes’ latest annual Highest-Paid Celebrities list.

Oprah was very vocal about her support for 16-year old Olympic gymnast, Gabby Douglas, during the London games.

Now, Lady O is traveling to West Des Moines, Iowa to chat with Gabby, her family, her coach and her host family during training for the Olympics.
