Olsen Twins Name Dream Fashion Muse: First Lady Michelle Obama

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have built a multimillion-dollar style empire on the success of their contemporary clothing lines — The Row, Elizabeth & James, and Olsenboye. But the pint-sized moguls still have at least one major fashion feat to overcome before they’ll call themselves accomplished designers: Mary-Kate and Ashley want to see their designs having from some of the most popularl shoulders in the world — Those of First Lady Michelle Obama.

“I’d love to get Michelle Obama in the Row,” Ashley tells Harper’s Bazaar on the pages of its Fall Fashion Issue. “The simple suits and things. It’s all made in America, so why not?”
