It’s a boy for Joel Madden and Nicole Richie.
The couple, who already the proud parents of the lovely Harlow Winter, are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a baby boy in August, a tipster reveals in the new issue of In Touch Weekly. Spywitnesses claim Nicole and Joel refer to the baby as “he” and have been stocking up on plushies and other pricey infant items adorned in blue.
“Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and — surprise, surprise — it’s blue.”

Britney’s still got a fan in Nicole Richie. Nicole ventured out to see the comeback queen’s concert in Los Angeles last Friday, April 17. She was so impressed by Britney’s current Circus Tour that she took to her personal blog to write about the experience and even share some of her personal pictures from the show.
“Friday night I went to the Britney Spears concert and had the time of my life! I have been a huge Britney fan since I was 16 and have been to all of her concerts. I think I went to 5 shows of her last tour,” Nicole writes.
The soon-to-be mama of two says no one puts on a show like The Britster.
“I have been looking forward to seeing her back on stage for years, and it was amazing! It was really hard to get pictures because she never stood still; I yelled and asked her to but she was too busy tending to her 50,000 other fans :). Here’s some of my favorite pictures, it was the best concert I’ve seen in a while. No one puts on a show like Britney!”

Nicole Richie has inked a deal to design a line of footwear, WWD reports. With her hit headband and jewelry line flying off shelves, the soon-to-be mom of two is partnering with the manufacturers of Modern Vintage shoes and Earnest Sewn jeans to add a collection of 20 shoe styles to her House of Harlow 1960 label.
In addition to shoes, Nicole is also introducing handbags, belts, and other small accessories.
“Nicole is designing everything herself,” says Rick Cytrynbaum, Nicole’s business partner. “She’s totally devoted to this, and we’re creating a whole lifestyle around her aesthetic and what is true to her.”
Nicole’s House of Harlow Shoe & Accessories Collection will debut in the Spring of 2010.
Nicole Richie has teamed up with Buzz Media Inc., to launch her official website, NicoleRichie.com.
The socialite/mommy-to-be will share exclusive videos, photos, and news about her daily life, House of Harlow 1960 jewelry line, as well as her Richie Madden Children’s Foundation on the new site.
“I have always wanted my own online destination to share my experiences and I’m grateful to have this opportunity to connect with people in meaningful ways,” Nicole says of the launch.
