Nicole Richie has taken the ultimate step in nudging “baby daddy” Joel Madden into wedded bliss-she’s purchased her wedding dress! Friends of Nicole claim the former reality TV star has been showing off photos of a wedding gown she designed with the help of celebrity threadsetter Charlotte Ronson (twin sister of Lindsay Lohan’s rumored lover Samantha Ronson).

“Nicole is giddy with excitement,” a friend of the twenty-six year old mom tells Star Magazine. “She’s been showing friends photos of the dress on her cell phone. She lights up when she shows it off.”

Paris Hilton, who isn’t even engaged to new boyfriend Benji Madden, is already planning a double ring wedding ceremony featuring her former BFF Nicole Richie and Benji’s identical twin, Joel Madden. Paris is convinced that she could sell photos of the affair and make a small fortune. (Little does Paris know, the cheese is in baby pictures. Just ask Jennifer Lopez.)

“She’s doing it all for attention, as usual,” a friend told the New York Post. “It’s a publicity stunt, just like everything else.” Hilton’s rep says, “Not true whatsoever.”
