Fame, family, and reality TV– Nicole Richie and her rocker baby daddy Joel Madden are reportedly shopping a new reality TV show.
The former Simple-Life-star-turned-mother-of-two is said to be in discussions with an undisclosed network to return to her roots as a reality personality by appearing in a new television talk show where famous friends show up at Joel & Nicole’s Hollywood home to be interviewed by the couple.
“Nicole turns down a lot of roles because she doesn’t want to leave her children, Harlow and Sparrow,” a Star Magazine spy explains. “This would be an option because she could work from home.”
Despite being the daughter of Commadores legend Lionel Richie, Nicole rose to fame appearing alongside former BFF Paris Hilton on the unscripted hit The Simple Life from 2003 to 2007.

Taking to her online blog Tuesday, Nicole wrote: “Right now it’s important for me to stay in bed and recover. Reading all of your messages on Twitter and my website has really brightened my spirits and I am so grateful for the support. I look forward to seeing you all very soon and wish you a happy Thanksgiving. I’d like to thank you all for the kind words and well wishes over the past few weeks.”

Socialite mom Nicole Richie has been hospitalized with pneumonia.
The 28-year-old — who gave birth to son Sparrow in September — bowed out of the Nov. 10 launch of her House of Harlow jewelry at Bebe in L.A., citing illness. On Sunday, Nicole Tweeted that she was feeling ill, writing “ok cold, it’s been 6 days.”
The 28-year-old daughter of singing legend Lionel Richie checked herself into Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after her symptoms persisted for several days. But fans have been warned not to worry – Nic is responding well to treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
“Nicole has checked into Cedars-Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia,” a rep for the former Simple Life star said Wednesday. “She is doing well.”
Nicole and BF Joel Madden also have a daughter, Harlow, who 22 months.
Nicole Richie has been granted a temporary restraining orders against two paparazzos she claims ran into her car, causing an accident earlier this month.
On Friday, Nicole was granted a restraining order in Los Angeles Superior Court against Ivon Miguel, 33, and Eduardo Arrivabene, 29. Both photographers have been ordered to stay at last 100 yards away from the socialite and her two children — daughter Harlow, 2, and son Sparrow, 6 weeks.
Kendra Wilkinson is ready to put her partygirl past behind her and devote her life to caring for son Hank Baskett IV — due this December. And the former Playboy Playmate is drawing inspiration from another reformed Hollywood wildchild.
“I look up to Nicole,” Kendra says of socialite mom Nicole in the Nov. 2 of In Touch Weekly. “She is the girl that I mostly look up to because she is more like me. She gives me the feeling of, ‘She did it and I can do it.’ She makes me feel good about what she’s accomplished.”

A very sleep-deprived Joel Madden and Nicole Richie join their six-week-old son Sparrow James Midnight Madden on the cover of the November 2 issue of PEOPLE Magazine, on newsstands this week.
“I couldn’t be happier,” the proud mom told the mag. “The only thing you want is for your kids to be healthy and happy, and they are. I’m right where I belong.”
Sparrow is the second child for Joel and Nicole; the couple also has a daughter, Harlow, who turns 2 in January.

The couple – who celebrated the birth of their second child, son Sparrow James Midnight, last month – reportedly secretly wed in an intimate service on Wednesday, after obtaining a marriage licence last week.
A spokesperson for the couple – who also have a 21-month-old daughter Harlow – has yet to comment on the reports.
Nicole Richie was rear ended by an unlicensed member of the paparazzi in the 9400 block of Wilshire Blvd. and Cannon Dr. in Beverly Hills on Monday, The Insider has confirmed.
The mother of two complained of pain following the incident, but elected to seek medical treatment on her own, according to a spokesperson for the Beverly Hills Police Department
Neither of Nicole’s children — Harlow, 21 months; and Sparrow, 1 month — were with her during the accident. The driver was cited and his car was impounded.

Less than a month after Joel Madden and Nicole Richie welcomed their second child — a son they’ve decided to call Sparrow — the couple is expressing worry over their oldest child Harlow, who at almost 2-years-old is “having a tough time adjusting” to the idea of being a big sister to her brand new baby bro, The National Enquirer claims in its Sept. 28 print issue.
