Femcee-turned-American Idol judge Nicki Minaj is final negotiations for a role in The Other Woman, a Nick Cassavetes-directed comedy featuring Cameron Diaz.

The storyline finds Diaz as a woman who finds out that she is “the other woman” in a love triangle. She teams up with the wife (played by Leslie Mann) to get revenge on the cheating husband. Nicki is in talks to play Diaz’s thrice-wed, opinionated assistant.

Minaj previously lent her voice to a character in Fox’s Ice Age: Continental Drift.

Veteran goss gawkers are still debating whether or not that nasty spat between femcee Nicki Minaj and songbird diva Mariah Carey was an authentic celebrity feud or the work of an elaborate ratings ploy. But Carey insists that the verbal battle with her fellow American Idol judge was very real and even prompted the “Hero” hitmaker to beef up her security.

The E! Network has released a trailer for its three-episode reality special, Nicki Minaj: My Truth, which features three weeks up close and personal with the newly-minted American Idol judge.

The Rumor Mill has been working overtime for months with whispers that the “Moment for Life” hitmaker had scored her own docu-soap with the cable network. Minaj gives her Barbz “unfiltered access” as she travels and prepares for sold-out concerts, product launches and more.

Nicki Minaj: My Truth premieres on the E! Network on Sunday, Nov. 4 at 10:30 pm.
