Nick Lachey explained the concept behind ABC’s new summer reality series High School Musical: Get In The Picture, which he will be hosting, on Wednesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Nick Lachey will host ABC’s new High School Musical reality show, it has been announced. Lachey, who once co-starred on MTV’s Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica alongside his then-wife Jessica Simpson, will make his HSM debut on the alphabet network on July 20th.

The new show will chronicle the search for the newest cast member of Disney’s hit movie musical franchise.
