Nick Jonas and the Administration has been added to the Recording Academy’s Dec. 2 CBS special, The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night, The Los Angeles Times learned on Wednesday.

Without even a charting single to their name, the famous teen crooner and his new band of brothers will join previously announced performers The Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell and Sugarland at the taping — hosted by LL Cool J — during which the 2010 Grammy noms will be unveiled.

“The band, the management and the promoter apologize that the show must be cancelled on such short notice. We will do everything we can to revisit Zurich in the future and perform for our wonderful fans. Tickets can be refunded as of Monday, 9 November until 31 December 2009 at the presale agency.”

Jonas Family matriarch, Denise Jonas, spilled the beans on the unfortunate news in an interview with Parade.com on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, pop heartthrob Nick Jonas — clad in white oxford shirt and a matching blazer –testified before a Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee hearing on federal funding for diabetes research. (He did a great job!) The star of the Disney-backed trio The Jonas Brothers publicly revealed that he has Type 1 diabetes while performing at a Diabetes Research Institute fundraiser in 2007.

“I know some people can become star-struck and lose sight of what they’re here for, but if Nick Jonas makes juvenile diabetes a cause that people are more aware of, it’s worth it,” said Ashley Woolos, an American University student and intern in the office of Rep. Richard Neal, D-Mass. “A younger face might bring younger fans and the fact that juvenile diabetes is not just an older persons’ disease.”

Other witnesses at yesterday’s hearing included boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard and actress Mary Tyler Moore.

The two sang “Before The Storm” to an excited crowd at the New Cowboys Stadium on Saturday evening. The duet came just days after Nick’s older brother Joe reportedly “outed” the crooner’s recently-rekindled romance with Miley in an interview with CNN’s Larry King Live on Thursday.

Nick Jonas is officially a high school graduate. The 16-year-old heartthrob and certified star of pop The Jonas Brothers took to his Twitter page last Friday to announce that he has completed his home-schooling and is officially done with high school, according to MTV News.

“I’m happy to announce I have graduated! Class of ‘09!” the youngest JoBro wrote. “Congrats to everyone else who has also graduated this year! -Mr. President (Nick)”

The Jonas Brothers’ third studio album, Lines, Vines, and Trying Times, drops this Tuesday.

In an interview with The London Times on Sunday, the 16-year-old pop star revealed that he penned the track “WWIII” — featured on The Jonas Brothers’ upcoming album Lines, Vines And Trying Times about an ex-girlfriend – believed to be the Hannah Montana star who suffered a bitter split with Nick in 2007.

“I wrote it out of personal experience. It was about this relationship. This person kept on fighting, and making out like it was World War III when it was really a one-sided battle,” Nick remarks. “It was just them coming at you, and you don’t really have any problem.”

After the couple broke-up, Miley dyed her hair black and released the diss track “7 Things” as a way of lashing out at Nick.

Miley Cyrus is quashing rumors that she has rekindled her romance with former boyfriend Nick Jonas.

Speculation about the former couple – who split in 2007 – began brewing on Friday when the NY Daily News claimed Miley was planning to dump 20-year-old model/singer Justin Gaston to return to the youngest member of the pop trio The Jonas Brothers.

Miley has blasted the reports, insisting the former couple are just “best friends.”

She says, “We aren’t back together. I don’t think people know how to make an ex-boyfriend into a best friend and it seems impossible. But when you have known each other as long as we have – we did have such a great relationship.
