Looks like Neil’s cast-mates of How I Met Your Mother, launched a successful intervention.
Neil Patrick Harris, who has hosted a slew of live broadcast’s over the last few years says that while. “Emceeing the Emmys was fun, but I’m sure glad it’s over. Looking forward to not hosting anything for a long time.”

Neil Patrick Harris did a fabulous job hosting Broadway’s biggest night again this year and now he’s heading back to the live stage.
NPH has confirmed that he will be keeping his promise to return to Broadway and starring in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. “I am simultaneously ecstatic and terrified to be stepping into Hedwig’s heels,” said Harris. “It is truly a once-in-a-lifetime role and I can’t wait to begin the journey.” Read the rest of this entry »

The How I Met your Mother star, was fantastic again as he pushed through a quick-tempoed opening number and was joined briefly on-stage by former Heavyweight Champion of the world, Mike Tyson.
NHP joked during his opening number that tonight’s performance could look like a day at “Chuck E. Cheese.” Performances from Matilda the musical, Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella and Annie filled the first hour of the live broadcast from Radio City Music Hall. Read the rest of this entry »

Monday marked the beginning of Season 8 for the CBS comedy, How I Met Your Mother….and could it be the last?
Ted, Barney, Robin, Marshall and Lilly have all held a soft-spot in our hearts but Neil Patrick Harris, the heart and soul of the show hinted that this could be the last year the cast will work, under their current contracts. “The only way I think a season nine or any longer would happen would be [if it were] financially right – that’s the reality of it,” Neil commented earlier.
