The 2008 MTV Movies Awards will air live from Hollywood on Sunday night, and singing burlesque troupe The Pussycat Dolls will be on hand to perform their new single “When I Grow Up.” The track will be featured on the girls’ forthcoming sophomore LP, in stores everywhere this Fall. The fifty contestants vying for the lead role in the Broadway production of Legally Blonde The Musical as part of a new MTV reality series stormed the Big Apple on Thursday. This summer, the girls will battle it out on MTV for the honor to replace Tony-winning actress Laura Bell Bundy as Elle Woods in the Broadway production of Legally Blonde. The legion of blonde bombshells and their pastel pink double decker bus will be popping up in all five boroughs as they tour New York City today. Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search For Elle Woods, hosted by actress Haylie Duff, premieres Monday, June 2nd at 10pm ET/PT.
