Trouble-prone actress-singer Lindsay Lohan is in chats to play a character loosely based on herself in a big screen romantic comedy currently in development.
Producers John Edmonds Kozma and Richard O’Sullivan are working on a new dating comedy called One Night With You and they hope to land Lohan as their star, IMDB.com reports. LiLo is up for the role of a scandal-ridden former child star who goes to rehab and revamps her career by appearing on a reality dating show.
The new trailer for Robert Pattinson’s new romantic movie Remember Me has been released. The Twilight heartthrob spent much of last summer shooting scenes for the film on the streets of the Big Apple. In fact, Pattz was hard at work on the set of Remember Me when a mob of crazed fans chased him into the path of a big yellow taxi!

Miley Cyrus and Lindsay Lohan are going toe-to-toe in a battle to voice Dorothy in John Boorman’s upcoming CG-animated update of the 1939 motion picture classic The Wizard of Oz, ZackTaylor.ca is reporting. Boorman’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is scheduled for a summer 2010 release and will deviate greatly from the signature song-and-dance slant featured in the original Oz.

Johnny Depp has reportedly inked a massive $33.6 million deal to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the fourth installment of Disney’s smash Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise.
Industry informants say studio bosses were so determined to get Depp back on board for 2011’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, they offered the Oscar-nominated actor a minimum $33.6 million pay deal – with additional cash incentives from ticket sales, according to London’s The Sun.
