The National Enquirer is reporting that 72-year-old Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman had a long-running sexual affair with his estranged wife’s 27-year-old granddaughter that began when the young woman was still in her teens.

The tabloid claims that a drunken Morgan tried to seduce his then-teenage step-granddaughter E’Dena Hines — who he has known since her birth— after a family dinner in the late ’90s. She turned him down to begin with but the pair later slept together in a California hotel.

The affair allegedly went on for several years before E’Dena confessed everything to her grandmother, blabbing tabloid spies squeal.

Demaris Meyer, the alleged mistress of actor Morgan Freeman, appeared at a news conference in Los Angeles on Wednesday to discuss a lawsuit against the Oscar-winning star stemming from an accident in which she was seriously injured when Freeman lost control of his car on a dark Mississippi road last August.

According to court documents filed in Mississippi federal court Wednesday, Meyer claims that “throughout the course of dinner and afterward drinks were consumed by Freeman” at the Bayou Bend Golf & Country Club.

Following dinner, Morgan “invited Ms. Meyer to stay at his home for the night, indicating that not only would Ms. Meyer have her own bedroom in which to stay, she would have her ‘own house.’” She says that before leaving the establishment, “Freeman had at least one more drink.”

At approximately 11:30 PM on their way to the actor’s home, “Freeman lost control of the car, entered the left lane of traffic, over corrected his steering and ran off the right side of the highway.”

The car then went into a ditch and struck an embankment and flipped multiple times.

Demaris Meyer suffered a broken left wrist and right scapula, a torn labrum in her right shoulder, pulmonary contusions, cervical strain and numerous bruise and lacerations as a result of the crash. She also claims to be suffering from cognitive difficulties and short-term memory loss.

Demaris is suing for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, permanent disability, mental and emotional distress, and property damage.

She is being represented by pitbull celebrity litigator Gloria Allred.

Cha-Ching! Let that cash register ring. Am I the person who smells a rat here? Why would this woman get into a car with a person she believed to be intoxicated? Can a person sue if their predicament is the result of their own bad judgement?

Seventy-one year old Oscar winner Morgan Freeman and his wife Myrna, 67, are divorcing after 24 years of marriage.

Myrna, a costumer, consulted a divorce attorney after hearing the cheated on her with a close family friend, a new tabloid item claims.

The actor’s Mississippi-based attorney and business partner Bill Luckett confirms the pair “are involved in a divorce action.” The couple have been separated since December 2007.

“Myrna was terribly upset when she heard Morgan had become intimate with a woman who had been her friend,” an inside source babbled to the National Enquirer.

The Wanted star was involved in a serious car accident over the weekend, in which the Nissan Maxima he was driving flipped over several times. He was traveling with a female passenger identified as Demaris Meyer.

Good news. Morgan Freeman’s going to be just fine after surviving a car crash in rural Mississippi Sunday night.

The soft-spoken Oscar-winner was hospitalized and listed in serious condition after his 1997 Nissan Maxima went off the shoulder of the road and tumbled down an embankment around 11:30 p.m last night. A rep for Freeman says the 71-year-old actor is in good spirits and prepared to spend the next three to four months recovering from his injuries.

“Morgan has a broken arm, elbow and has minor shoulder damage but was in good spirits when I spoke with him a short time ago at the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center at The MED, a Level 1 Trauma Center at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. He is having a little bit of surgery this afternoon or tomorrow to help correct the damage. He says he’ll be okay and is looking forward to a full recovery,” read a statement from Morgan’s rep on Monday.

The screen legend, 71, had to be airlifted to a Memphis hospital for treatment. He is presently in serious condition with several broken ribs and an injured knee. A state trooper tells the AP there was a female passenger in the car with the actor.
