
What could have been a HUGE battle between actors and producers, ended today.
The Emmy-winning ABC series, Modern Family, ended their pay dispute today and returned to the Warner Brother’s set. Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sofia Vergara and Ed O’Neil, agreed on a deal that would take the salaries from $65,000 per episode (Except for O’Neil who was pulling in $105k per episode) up to $150,000 for each episode plus a deal for back-end rights for Season 4. It looks like the inside scoop surrounding Sofia Vergara’s weekend engagement in Mexico is becoming about as entertaining as a Modern Family storyline. While the blogosphere was ablaze on Tuesday night with dish that the Latin lusty had accepted a marriage proposal from her longtime beau — Florida businessman Nick Loeb — it turns out the diamond sparkler Vergara has been sporting isn’t an engagement ring after all.

TV favorites, Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen from Modern Family are winners again. The pair along with a host of others, snagged a Critics Choice Award last night in Beverly Hills.
The Critics Choice which honor excellent work in television also passed out awards to NBC’s The Voice for best competition series as well as Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations for best reality series.
