Depending on who’s telling the story, the revamped judging panel — which also includes veteran Randy Jackson — seems to be driving people away.

Modern Family actress, Ariel Winters, has been in the middle of a bitter custody dispute.

Winters, who stars as Alex Dunphey on the mega-hit, has been living with her adult sister for the past few weeks. Today a LA judge laid out the terms, keeping Ariel under the guardianship of her 34-year-old sister, Shanelle Gray, until March. At that point, the case will be reviewed. Last week, Arie’s older sister filed paperwork to have the young actress removed from her mother’s custody. Now details are leaking that the cast and crew of Modern Family has been wanting to ban Ariel’s mom from the set for a while now. TMZ is now quoting a close source to the show who says Chrystal Workman (Ariel’s mom) was “hated” by the crew, producers, actors, and other mothers, because she made Ariel’s life a living Hell.
