Spywitnesses dish that former Miss USA/Recovering Cokehead Tara Conner has been selected to host a comeback of the ’90s MTV dating show, “Singled Out.”

Tara is on the cover of Steppin Out Magazine, which hits newsstands today. The former beauty queen talks to Chaunce Hayden about Donald Trump, Rosie O’Donnell, Miss Teen USA, and even Britney Spears.

The star of MTV’s “Meet the Barkers” took aim at the recently dethroned Miss USA, Tara Conner, when several web sites commented that the two looked like twins thanks to Shanna’s new ‘do.

“I cut my hair but since I am being compared to the she-devil herself I will grow it out,” Shanna said in a recent posting on her MySpace page. Her harsh words stem from the fact that she feels Tara should have been stripped of the Miss USA title when it was revealed that she had been abusing drugs and alcohol.

Welll…not quite. But made ya look! The soon-to-be former Miss USA Tara “Cokehead” Connor was caught at a photoshoot at Universial Studios with contestants at the upcoming Miss. USA ceremony.

Recovering coke addict Miss USA Tara Conner will be handing over her crown next month, but a trip to Broadway may be just one audition away. Tara is rehearsing for the role of Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of “Chicago.”

“Assuming both sides are comfortable, then this will be a win-win for both parties,” Barry Weissler, one of the show’s producers.

Snitching sources say that Tara can sing, but her acting sucks and she’s got two left feet.

Miss USA Tara Connor spent the weekend strutting down the catwalk in New York’s Bryant Park neighborhood, but she admitted that alcohol and drugs still beckon to her.

“If I were to say I never have cravings, then I would be lying,” the twenty-one year old told the Daily News backstage after modeling a gold and black V-neck gown in the Tadashi Fashion Show.

“I’ll be in situations where I would have initially had a drink, but I feel better and I take more pride in not doing it now,” she said. “I realize that if I put any chemical in my body that I’m going to have an allergic reaction, and it’s going to take me back, and I don’t want to go back.”

“A drug is a drug is a drug, regardless of what you take, whether it’s coke or whether it’s anything,” she said. “Some will say, ‘I want to use it for energy,’ or ‘I’m going to use this to calm my nerves.’ You need to learn how to do these things yourself, because I didn’t.”

T.C and Miss Teen USA Katie Blair accompanied designer Tadashi Shoji down the catwalk at the close of the fashion show.

Talks between Playboy and The Donald to place Miss Cokehead USA on a “lite” cover of America’s oldest “nudie” magazine have fallen through despite the offer of a $1 million deal.

“She just didn’t feel it was appropriate. She will not be doing Playboy,” said Donald’s spokeswoman Rhona Graff.

A Playboy magazine source said it doesn’t make offers in the seven figures.
