Move over, Britney. There’s a new paparazzi princess in town. The Los Angeles Times is investigating the paparazzi newfound interest in the World’s Most Popular Teen, Disney star Miley Cyrus. Kids adore her. And in spite of several questionable photos on Myspace a topless potrait in Vanity Fair Magazine, American parents remain enchanted. Miley’s mass likeability is quickly turning the fifteen year old Hannah Montana star into a professional shutterbug’s next little darling.
“Miley is going to steal all of Britney’s thunder. Kids want to see her. They don’t want to see ripped fishnets and fear and mascara-streaked cheeks,” Frank Griffin, of the Bauer-Griffin Paparazzi Agency told the LA Times. Read the rest of this entry »

After being painfully dogged by the press of her consistent appearance in racy photos for Myspace/Facebook as well as her now infamous semi-topless shot in the June 2008 edition of Vanity Fair, Miley Cyrus is fed up with showbiz. The fifteen year old Hannah Montana star has told a co-star she is ‘hurting’ and wants to quit the business after she received global criticism over the Vanity Fair debacle.
Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, who plays Miley’s sidekick Ashley Dewitt on the hit Disney show says, “Sometimes I’ll talk to her on the phone and she’ll be like, “It’s really hard” or “I’m really tired. I can’t do this….It really hurt her inside. She didn’t know that people would look at it like that.”
