Just in time for the Christmas shopping rush, Jailbreak Toys’ new Michelle Obama action figures capture the first lady in some of her signature sleeveless looks.
Three new six inch plastic Michelle Obama action figures — masterminded by the same company who created Barack Obama action figures during the presidential campaign — show the First Lady wearing some of her signature dresses:
-The purple dress she wore during the “fist bump” moment after her husband clinched the Democratic presidential nomination…..
-The ever-unflattering red and black “Black Widow” dress she wore on election night….
-The black and white dress she wore on The View during the campaign for The White House….
The new Michelle dolls start shipping Nov. 20, although Jailbreak Toys is accepting pre-orders now. They cost $12.99.
Michelle Obama will appear on an upcoming episode of The Jay Leno Show, The Associated Press reports.
On Monday, NBC announced that the First Lady will respond to ten rapid-fire questions on the program’s “10 @ 10″ segment, via satellite from The White House. The guest spot marks the first time Mrs. O has appeared alongside Leno since the comic’s move to primetime last month.
The First Lady will answer Jay’s questions on The Jay Leno Show this Friday, Oct. 23.
On Nov. 10, television’s beloved children’s classic Sesame Street will celebrate its 40th birthday with a guest appearance from First Lady Michelle Obama. Mrs. O is on tap to teach America’s tiniest citizens the importance of eating healthy by planting a garden of tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce with longtime Sesame Street residents Big Bird and Elmo.
“All these seeds need to grow are sun, soil and water. If you eat these healthy foods, you’re going to grow up to be big and strong, like me,” she says. “I know you’re going to like these vegetables, because in addition to being healthy, they really taste great!”
In the October issue of Women’s Health, First Lady Michelle Obama and her personal trainer of more than a decade, Cornell McClellan, speak out about the 45-year-old mom’s buzzed-about fitness routine.
McClellan — who began Mrs. O at his Chicago fitness studio in 1997 — says the secret of achieving the First Lady’s finely-toned biceps lie in triceps pushdowns and hammer curls. McClellan says he’s put Obama through the paces more than 1,870 times in their years together — sometimes as early as 5:30AM.
Are Michelle Obama’s fashion choices pushing the envelope?
After returning from a trip to the Grand Canyon over the weekend, First Lady Michelle Obama was photographed exiting Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix wearing a pair of “short shorts” some political commentators are calling “inappropriate.”
