Michael Lohan is taking Operation Save Lindsay to the Wonderful World of Daytime TV. On an upcoming episode of The Maury Povich Show, which will air Oct. 27, the small screen’s signature Captain Save-A-Ho will take a break from exposing cheaters and tracking down broke baby daddies to turn the floor over to Michael Lohan — who makes a passionate plea to his famous firstborn.

Michael Lohan – who has alleged his actress daughter is addicted to prescription drugs – believes the ‘Mean Girls’ star is being targeted by a man who is aware of her reliance on legal substances.
“This guy follows Lindsay all over the place. All over. Lindsay pays for him to go everywhere. He has no job. He does nothing. All he does is supply everyone in Los Angeles,” Michael — who has a history of drug abuse himself — revealed in an interview with RadarOnline Wednesday.
The born-again Christian has vowed to help Lindsay beat her addiction, telling Radar: “I’m going to get her off the prescription drugs that she’s on. I hate it when people talk about illegal drug abuse because it’s not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you,” he added.
“Prescription drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson.”
Although he refused to say what medications his 22-year-old daughter is taking, he admitted her addiction has taken over her life.
Speaking of The Lohans, Michael Lohan has launched legal action against celebrity blogger Perez Hilton over the trademark lewd images the no-holds-barred gossip draws on photos of celebs.
The father of actress Lindsay Lohan is tired of finding penis doodles scribbled on his headshots and has sent Perez — real name Mario Lavandeira — a cease and desist order, demanding that he stop publishing the “obscene” images on his website. Read the rest of this entry »
We hear Jon Gosselin’s girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, as well as the serial papa’s BFF, Michael Lohan, will also be featured on the father of eight’s newest reality series.
According to RadarOnline, the trio have been cast on The Divorced Dads’ Club, a new reality show centering around single Hollywood dads.
“Jon wants the show to feature the guys’ girlfriends,” a show source spilled to the website. “He’s promised Hailey that she will be a big part of the show. The show will focus on each dad’s life and Jon’s life with Hailey will be a big part of it.”
Last week, Jon temporarily halted production of his estranged wife Kate’s show, Kate Plus Eight, after TLC dropped him from the program.

Proofing once again that the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree, convicted felon Michael Lohan — the estranged father of actress Lindsay Lohan — was “quietly” arrested in New York on April 6 after he threatened to kill his fiancée and himself when she tried to end their engagement.
According to The NY Post, Erin Muller, 34, claims Lohan made the murder-suicide threat in a phone call placed to her on March 18.
Now that Samantha Ronson is out of the way, Michael Lohan has found a new subject to spar over with his estranged daughter Lindsay.

Maybe Michael Lohan can help his troubled daughter finding acting work. Despite Lindsay Lohan’s difficulty securing employment in Hollywood, the actress’ estranged dad strutted down the red carpet at the opening of the Beverly Hills Film Festival this week after landing a role in the new short film Wanna Be Me!.
Surprisingly, this was not Michael’s first time in front of a camera. The former Wall St. day trader made several appearances on the CBS soap opera As The World Turns when he was just a teenager.

“I had a little experience back then. But I chose to work on Wall Street instead,” the born-again Christian told reporters during his film premiere on Wednesday.
