Mia Farrow is still fighting the good fight. The legendary actress-activist is ten days into a 21-day water only fast to call attention to the crisis in Darfur. Mia has been updating fans on her progress with a series of daily vlogs on YouTube. Aside from that, the star of Rosemary’s Baby conserves her limited energy by spending most of her time in bed.
No food for me for ten days now, to protest the expulsion of humanitarians from all of Sudan (including, of course, the Darfur region and the refugee camps). Please contact President Obama at www.whitehouse.gov/CONTACT. Tell him he must keep his promise to help the people of Darfur. For more information go to www.miafarrow.org.
On Monday, actress Mia Farrow will begin a three-week hunger strike in protest of the crisis in Darfur.
Mia’s protest comes after the Sudanese government expelled foreign aid agencies from the war-torn region in March. The 64-year-old actress, who is a goodwill ambassador for the UNICEF, will only drink water as part of a fast.
