It’s here. The CW Network has unleased the first look at its upcoming revival of the former primetime soap Melrose Place. The original series ran on FOX from 1992 until it series finale in 2000. Now the steamiest complex on television is getting a facelift — complete with a new group of neighbors and even sexier storylines.
Here’s an extended promo of the first season of the new Melrose Place, premiering this fall on The CW.

Laura Leighton “Melrose Place” on The CW
Sydney Andrews is coming back from the dead for a new role on The CW’s fall revival of Melrose Place. Actress Laura Leighton is reprising her role as the devious Sydney, who was presumed in 1997 when she was run over by a car on her wedding day.
Sydney is coming back as the landlord to the new tenants, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Leighton’s two-episode stint on the original Melrose Place in 1993 was her first acting gig. It led to a full job on the series for four years. It was on the set of Melrose that Leighton met her husband, co-star Doug Savant, who now plays Tom Scavo on ABC’s Desperate Housewives.
