Lindsay Lohan is getting to equally C-list competition in her quest to play A-list icon Dame Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming made-for-TV movie. Former Transformers hottie Megan Fox is also in the running for the role.
You may remember Megan Fox. She’s a lovely girl who was once the Next Big Thing™ but kind of blew it when she developed the nasty habit of being honest during interviews, which wouldn’t have been so bad if it didn’t seem like she was trying so hard to be cool and different and outre.
Then she compounded a public-perception problem by trashing her “Transformers” director, who’s largely credited with being the one who made her a star. Which was, you know, rude, so she seemed like a spoiled brat. Oddly enough, other directors haven’t been all that anxious to work with her since then.

In an interview with the August issue of Details, Transformers star Shia LaBeouf let slip that he had a sexy off-screen affair with co-star Megan Fox when the pair were busy slaying robots on the set of the first two movies. The bombshell confession left fans with dropped jaws and prompted conspiracy theorists (including us here at PopCrunch) to question whether or not Megan had been doing the sideways samba with Shia during her relationship with former 90210er Brian Austin Green.
Well — that’s still anyone’s guess. But Meg’s “alleged” roll in the hay with LaBeouf just landed the out-of-work-sex symbol her most lucrative job offer in months: “Anti-cheating” spokeswoman!
Shia LaBeouf says the onscreen chemistry fans saw between him and his former Transformers love interest Megan Fox in the first two installments of the robot-battling franchise was anything but fiction. According to the 25-year-old actor — dubbed “Hollywood’s Last Bad Boy” in an interview for Details’ August issue — he and the bombshell hit the sheets at least once during their time as co-stars. It’s unknown, however, whether the alleged fling took place during Meg’s on-again/off-again courtship with her now husband, 90210′s Brian Austin Green.
When asked by Details reporters if he’d ever been intimate with Megan, Shia nodded in the affirmative. Oh Shia, didn’t your mother ever tell you not to kiss and tell?
