Mark Ronson says wearing fur is like wearing your pet dog.

The music producer – perhaps best known across the pond for his work on Amy Winehouse’s award-winning 2007 album Back To Black – and his pet pup Maude have posed in a new anti-fur advertisement for animal rights group PETA beside the tagline “If You Wouldn’t Wear Your Dog, Please Don’t Wear Any Fur.”

“The only difference between our ‘best friends’ and animals killed for their fur is how we treat them. No one knows that better than a sharp dresser like Mark Ronson. With all the fashionable alternatives available, there’s absolutely no excuse for wearing fur,” says PETA Europe Director Robbie LeBlanc.

Mark Ronson is desperate to bust up his kid sister’s romance with the poisonous Lindsay Lohan.

British record producer has been hit with a wave of concern for his sister, Samantha, after the celebrity spinner was recently hospitalized for exhaustion, and is reportedly trying to get between Sam’s volatile romance with the Hollywood actress.

Well said DJ MARK RONSON, who has ordered his skinny little sis to end things with “actress” LINDSAY Yes-I-Really-Am-A-Lesbian (I-Think) LOHAN. “Mark doesn’t think Lindsay is right for his little sister,” said an insider. “He’s really protective and is pressing to end it for good.”

According to the Star report, the lezzie lovebirds are diligently researching their chances of conception via invitro fertizilation-and they’ve already selected the ideal sperm donor-Sam’s own brother, record producer Mark Ronson!

“Lindsay told Sam that she’s been feeling more and more maternal in the past few months and she wants to get pregnant,” a Star Magazine insider says us. “Sam was completely overjoyed, because starting a family with Lindsay is a dream come true for her.”

“They both think that Samantha’s older brother, Mark Ronson, would be the perfect sperm donor,” their pal tells Star. “They agree that it’s the best way for Lindsay and Samantha to have a baby together.”

The Ronson siblings, renowned DJs Mark and Samantha, and fashion designer Charlotte, are featured in the September issue Harper’s Bazaar. The shoot features the superstar fam channeling the quirky family from the 2001 film The Royal Tenenbaums.

Ronson twin Samantha, 31, refused to confirm or deny her buzzed-about romance with actress Lindsay Lohan, saying:

“I’m not going to talk about Lindsay because she’s my friend, you know? She’s great. She’s also 22 years old. I think people forget that,” she said. “With the Internet the way it is, one second we’re enemies, one second we’re best friends, one second we’re lovers, and then we’re broken up.”

“I stay away from the tabloids. I don’t feel that I should personally have to defend myself to a magazine that I’m not a drug addict. I don’t do drugs. I don’t sell pictures of my friends,” Samantha told the style mag.

Superproducer Mark Ronson has further sparked rumors that his younger sister, celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson, is dating actress Lindsay Lohan after calling the pair “a cute couple” on the pages of a British tabloid this week.

‘My sister and Lindsay make a cute couple, don’t they?’ Mark, thirty-two, told the Sunday Mirror.

Neither Lindsay or Samantha have confirmed widespread rumors that they are booty buddies, but the girls were snapped in a passionate embrace on the Los Angeles set of Lindsay’s new film, Labor Pains, on Monday.

Amy Winehouse has backed out of plans to record a track for the next James Bond flick, The Quantum of Solace, after a furious studio battle with her producer, Mark Ronson. Crackhouse is outraged by comments Ronson made on British television show Sky News, claiming it was unlikely work on the Quantum of Solace track would continue “unless by some miracle of science it gets recorded and someone sings a vocal on it.” “We did work on it but we never finished it so that’s about it…I’m not sure she’s ready to work on music yet.”Mark said.

“That is unhelpful, to say the very least,” an Amy insider revealed to
the British press on Saturday. “Amy and the rest of the team are furious by what Ronson has said….Amy wasn’t happy with the finished product and let her feelings known. The whole things smacks of sour grapes. Amy is more than capable of working at the moment despite a turbulent few weeks. In fact, throwing herself into her music is very much an escape for her at the moment.”

Celebrity DJ/Amy Winehouse producer Mark Ronson has snubbed an offer to produce Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming “dance” album. Mark says he prefers to work with “real musicians.” Ouch!

Mark, whose sister Samantha has long been romantically linked to the sexually indiscriminate Lohan, says Lindsay’s sound is just “not my thing.”

“Sam and Lindsay are good friends but I wouldn’t produce her album. I am more interested in working with musicians and groups of singers. Not to take anything away from her. I’m sure she will make a good record. But it’s not my thing.”

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have asked Mark Ronson to DJ at Suri Cruise’s second birthday party on April 18th. Mark was the official DJ at TomKat’s Italian weeding reception in 2006. Tom Cruise was particularly impressed with Mark’s remixed version of the Top Gun theme.
