About 200 of Amy Winehouse’s family and friends gathered in London today for a memorial to honor the singer, who died on Saturday of still-unknown causes.
Producer Mark Ronson recently re-teamed with bluesy “Back to Black” star Amy Winehouse to record a cover of Lesley Gore’s 1963 single “It’s My Party.” The track was the first big hit for pop/jazz/R&B superproducer Quincy Jones and is set to appear on a forthcoming tribute album honoring the music legend, legendary producer Quincy Jones.
Jones’ tribute album Q: Soul Bossa Nostra drops Nov. 9.
