Regis Philbin is still set to hang up his hat as one-half of the ABC morning gabfest Live! in November, and the hunt is narrowing for the new gabber who’ll join Kelly Ripa for dish with a side of danish weekday mornings at nine. The Wall Street Journal suggests that American Idol’s Ryan Seacrest, Bravo prez Andy Cohen, and Mark Consuelos — Mr. Ripa himself — have emerged as the frontrunners in the race to replace Reege.

Live! With Regis & Kelly star Kelly Ripa and hubby Mark Consuelos are teaming up to produce a new TLC reality TV competition centering on aspiring female entrepreneurs.
The former sudstars — owners of Milojo Productions — will partner with the Home Shopping Network and TLC to air Homemade Millionaires, a docu-series which will follow three aspiring female entrepreneurs for a chance to sell their inventions on HSN.

Kelly Ripa and hubby Mark Consuelos got steamy on the set of their new TV commercial for Electrolux Appliances in Queens, NY on Tuesday.
Great news, soap fans: Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are heading back to the show where they fell in love. The couple are scheduled to return to Pine Valley for the 40th anniversary episode of All My Children early next year, ABC announced Friday. This will be the first time either has appeared on AMC since their departure in 2002.
Kelly says Live With Regis & Kelly will air behind-the-scenes footage next month of the couple’s return to Pine Valley.
The All My Children 40th Anniversary Special will air on Jan. 4 and 5.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have issued a cease-and-desist letter to the National Enquirer demanding “a full public retraction” of the tabloid’s front-page story, which claims that the lovable power couple have “split.” Read the rest of this entry »
