Marilyn Manson has swine flu.
The controversial shock rocker, once linked to the 1999 Columbine school shooting, has been officially diagnosed with the H1N1 virus. The virus is not believed to life-threatening and Manson is expected to make a speedy recovery, which prompted the star to crack a few joking about his diagnosis on his MySpace Celebrity Blog on Tuesday.

Music editors better watch their pens. Shock rocker Marilyn Manson has threatened to attack any journalists who write negative things about him or his controversial band.

Marilyn — whose real name is Brian Warner — took to his MySpace blog this week to warn writers to keep their fonts shut.
“If one more ‘journalist’ makes a cavalier statement about me and my band, I will personally or with my fans’ help, greet them at their home and discover just how much they believe in their freedom of speech,” Marilyn wrote cryptically.
“I dare you all to write one more thing that you won’t say to my face. Because I will make you say it. “In that manner. That is a threat.”
His statement is thought to be a response to a recent interview in L.A. Weekly, in which a writer suggested that Manson is addicted to cocaine and is nothing like his onstage goth persona. In 1998, Marilyn Manson was accused of inviting music magazine editor Craig Marks backstage at a concert and assaulting him.
The charges were later dropped.
Harry Potter star Emma Watson is embracing the dark side after accepting a role in shock rocker Marilyn Manson’s creepy movie musical.
The 19-year-old has been offered a part as the princess in a Goth-inspired version of the classic fairytale Cinderella, The Sun has revealed.
The alleged role would be Emma’s first outside of the Harry Potter franchise, which saw the beauty shoot to fame as the studious Hermione Granger in the hit wizard films.
