“It would probably leak today so I figured “might as well give it a nice debut” I hope “you like this”: ),” the Grammy-winning singer wrote in a Tweet, before releasing the image via MariahCarey.com this afternoon.
“The reason I chose to use 3 images for the cover is cos there are a lot of different emotions and stories revealed on this album….” Mariah explained.

Mariah Carey will release her 12th studio album, Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, August 25 on Island Def Jam, the singer revealed Tuesday.
The album’s lead single, “Obsessed,” made its radio debut this week.
“Seriously, this is one of my favorite songs ever. I love the whole album. I’m completely immersed in it. I can’t wait for you to hear it,” Mariah excitedly wrote in a Tweet on June 9.
Mariah Carey is a “little excited” about the release of her next single — named after the movie in which Beyonce plays an ass-kicking woman scorned.

Forget press releases, Mariah Carey decided to let her fans know the title of her new album via her Twitter page.
“Bcuz I Love U, I want u to be the first to know the title of my new album ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’ Its very personal & dedicated to u,” Madame Butterfly wrote in a Tweet to her followers on Wednesday.
Songbird Mariah Carey is slated to record a cover of “I Want to Know What Love Is,” the enduring 1984 ballad from British-American rock band Foreigner.
The track is being toted as a potential single for Madame Butterfly’s latest album due out later this year–much to the chagrin of Latin salsa star Marc Anthony, who had been hoping to purchase the rights to the song for a remake of his own.
Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey were in a minor car accident in Los Angeles early Thursday morning.
According to Mariah’s Twitter page, the vehicle the diva and her manbag were traveling in was in a collision at approximately 9 AM.
“just got into a little car accident in la..but we’re all ok. Neither of us were driving,” Mariah tweeted. “this is why I don’t drive,or get up early.”
