Pop diva Mariah Carey has revived Foreigner’s classic love anthem “I Want to Know What Love Is.” The British-American rock band’s 1984 ballad will be featured on Mariah’ long-awaited 12th studio album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, due out on Sept. 29th, Showbiz 411 has learned.
The release of Mariah Carey’s upcoming 12th studio album has been delayed for a second time.
Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, which was originally scheduled for release on August 29 and then September 15, will now arrive two weeks later on September 29.
Mariah has also pulled out of a string of live performances scheduled to coincide with the album’s original release date, including appearances on VH1 Storytellers, TODAY, the MTV Video Music Awards, and her Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony.
A source at Def Jam tells Reuters that the star has returned to the studio to record additional songs for the album.
