The Hollywood “It” Girl replaces Oscar-winning actress Penelope Cruz as collection spokesmodel in Mango’s latest promos, shot by famed photographer Mario Sorrenti in Los Angeles.

Scarlett Johansson has been tapped as the latest ad campaign spokesmodel from Spanish clothing line Mango, Women’s Wear Daily has learned.

The Golden Globe-nominated star will replace her Vicky Cristina Barcelona co-star, Penelope Cruz — who has served as the frontwoman in the line’s promo campaigns for the past four years — in the upcoming Fall/Winter campaign.

In a press release issued Wednesday, the brand says Scarlett embodies the ideal Mango woman: “chic, independent, and cosmopolitan.” In addition to ScarJo and Penelope, others celebs who have represented the brand include Christy Turlington, Diane Kruger, and Milla Jovovich.

Scarlett’s Mango campaign — shot by photographer Mario Sorrenti in Los Angeles this week — will debut later this year.
