Madonna Fans, rejoice! The Material Girl’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, took to Twitter this week with the announcement that the “Express Yourself” singer will begin recording a new album next month. According to Oseary, the 52-year-old pop queen is pulling together a hit list of producers she hopes to collaborate with on the upcoming LP, which will serve as the follow-up to her 2008 Hard Candy disc, and is being eyed for release in 2012.
The Weinstein Company has picked up the rights to The Material Girl’s upcoming directorial debut, W.E, company Co-Chairman Harvey Weinstein and Donna Gigliotti, Weinstein’s President of Production, have confirmed.
