Madonna was paid $10 million to appear in the new advertising campaign for Sunsilk. The Material Girl’s thirty second debut in the Sunsilk “Life Can’t Wait” campaign, co-starring Marilyn Monroe and Shakira, will premiere during the the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and New York Giants. Shakira clocked just $2.5 million for her Sunsilk appearance.
Justin Timberlake and Timbaland will appear in the music video for Madonna’s upcoming single 4 Minutes to Save the World, which the two Grammy Award winners co-wrote and co-produced. The video for 4 Minutes to Save the World will begin shooting later this week.
Madonna has topped Forbes Magazine’s countdown of the Highest-Grossing Female Musicians of 2007. The $72 million Material Girl beat out close contenders Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion for the Number One spot. Read the rest of this entry »
Madonna has teamed up with Sunsilk as the face of their new Life Can’t Wait ad campaign, encouraging women to make things happen rather than sitting around waiting for things to happen. According to the Snitch Circuit, the Material Girl’s first ad spot for the sun care line will debut during the Super Bowl on February 3. Shakira and a digitally-remastered Marilyn Monroe will also appear in the campaign.
