Madge is adding a new stripe to her illustrious career profile: juniors’ clothing designer.

The trendsetting, pop-singing icon is launching MG Icon LLC — a fashion venture with Iconix that will introduce a series of Madonna-branded businesses, including Material Girl Clothing launching exclusively at Macy’s just in time for Back-to-School sales this August.

The Material Girl apparel collection will include clothing, shoes, accessories, and jewelry aimed at young women 13-25, and is set to retail between $12 and $40. The goal is fast-fashion for the chic fashionista, with Madonna’s 13-year-old daughter, Lourdes, serving as inspiration for the line.

This isn’t the first time Her Madgesty has taken a stab at designing duds; in 2007, Madonna created a seasonal line for Swedish retailer H&M.

Jesus Luz — Madonna’s on again/off again — has landed a recording contract with the singer’s former label Warner Bros., a new report claims.

Jesus has allegedly landed a two-album deal with the label Madonna left last year after more than 25 years.

The 23-year-old Brazilian, who has been dating the pop queen for a year, recently began showing off his DJ skills by spinning at exclusive parties. Now the Material Girl is helping Luz craft his career in the industry by encouraging her longtime collaborator Victor Calderone to remix Luz’s tracks, according to The Sun.

A tipster tells the publication: “Madonna really wants Jesus’ career to take off. She’s been… putting him in contact with as many of her influential pals as she can. Reps for Madge and Macy’s are staying mum, but WWD cites various sources, who claim names for the labels are already in the works. “Material Girl” and “Truth or Dare” are among the possibilities.

Madonna’s new school for girls is forcing 200 Malawian villagers out of house and home.

The Malawian government has ordered residents of Chinkhota, a village just outside the capital city of Lilongwe, to get out to make way for a $15 million girls’ school funded by Madonna’s Raising Malawi charity, The Associated Press reports. Madonna — who is the mother of two children adopted from the poor African nation — has already broken ground on the school, which is expected to open early next year.

On Thursday, Lilongwe District Commissioner Charles Kalemba told 200 villagers that the government land some of them have been living on for years has been handed over to Madonna. Kalemba believes the school will be beneficial to the nation’s young people and urged the residents to move.

Kalemba told the Villagers of Chinkhota: “The government allowed you to occupy this land because there was no project yet, but now that Madonna wants to build you a school you have to give way. This school is the future of our children. You are lucky that Madonna has compensated you for your houses, gardens and trees.”

Village head man Binson Chinkhota also wants the villagers to leave. “We have been compensated and this school is a pride for us as it is the future of our children,” the community leader told members of the press on Thursday. The displaced residents have been offered other government land, but the news has still infuriated many.

Anjimile Mtila-Oponyo, who will be principal of Madonna’s still-unnamed institution, says the singer paid the villagers more than 16 million kwacha (about $115,000) to help them start their new lives in new homes.

“We’re not going to have celebrities. Last season we had two celebrities that showed up. One because Lady Gaga was doing our after-party, and she didn’t even make it to her seat because we started the show before she got there. And one was Madonna. She came backstage, and I was like, ‘What do you do with her now?’’ Marc Duffy — business partner of designer and Louis Vuitton Creative Director Marc Jacobs — told Style.com this week.

“Because it’s not like she was invited. She just called and said she was coming, and we weren’t holding the show for her. She just came and that was it.
