Hey guys, what is it about snake-themed horror movies that Hollywood loves so much?

Speaking of Anacondas with a thirst for human flesh, we thought you might get a kick out watching Luke Perry ~~embarass himself~~ fight giant mutant snakes as they take over his submarine in Silent Venom, the campy new Snakes On A Plane-esque straight-to-DVD stinker that hit Netflix last week.

Dear God, Dylan, has it come to this? Somebody get this man a guest spot on The CW’s 90210, stat!

Fans of 90210 rejoice!

Television’s Dylan McKay is set to join Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty, and Tori Spelling as former 90210 originals who have reprised their roles on The CW’s revival of the ’90s hit.Although he originally turned down an offer to appear on the spinoff of Beverly Hills, 90210, Luke Perry is the latest original castmember who has signed up for a guest appearance on the show.

A source tells Star Magazine: “They wanted to spread out the guest appearances. That’s why Tori appeared well after the show’s premiere, and now Luke will most likely be next.”

Dylan McKay maybe “Kelly’s baby daddy” on The CW’s modern-day revival of Beverly Hills, 90210, but producers behind the primetime soap will have to fork over a few more fistfuls of cash if they ever hope get Dylan’s original alter ego, actor Luke Perry, back on the small screen.

If the National Enquirer is to be believed, Luke was recently offered a $15,000 contract to make a one-time guest appearance on the new 90210. He turned down the gig. Instead Luke, who turned in an impressive performance as a guest star on Law & Order: SVU earlier this year, is asking for the same gig the network is giving recurring star Shannen Doherty, who famously feuded with Luke-and everyone else-on the original series.

He wants $40,000 per episode, but head honchos at The CW say “fat chance” of that happening.

When producers balked, Luke suggested: “Kill off my character…or find a new face to play me.”

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that 90210 alum Luke Perry is making his way back to the small screen this Fall will a guest appearance on the season premiere of Law & Order: SVU.

Luke is playing one-half of a foster-parent couple suspected of abusing their child,EW insiders squeal.

The season opener will also feature Julie Bowen, formerly of the ABC drama Lost, as the wife of Luke’s character, and Roseanne’s Sara Gilbert (”Darlene”) as the child’s birth mother.
