Lauren Conrad is losing pals faster than most Hollywood socialites lose their clothes.

We hear childhood pal Lauren “Lo” Bosworth has joined Whitney Port and Audrina Patridge as the latest castoff to separate herself from LC.

Lo is “getting sick and tired of dealing with Lauren’s inflated ego and sense of entitlement.”

“They used to be inseparabe, but now Lo is finding every excuse in the book to avoid spending time with Lauren.”

Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag may not be the only trustfund babies with an ax to grind with one another by end of The Hills this season. Brunette Conrad accomplice Audrina Patridge has finally confirmed reports that all is not peachy between herself and L.C. Snitching tabloid tattles dish that Audrina has been left feeling like three’s anything but company when it comes to forging a bond with L.C and her old pal from MTV’s Laguna Beach, Lauren “Lo” Bosworth:

“I feel left out sometimes,” Audrina confirms to In Touch Weekly. The tension is so thick that on the May 12th season finale of The Hills, Audrina considers moving out of the $2.4 million Hollywood home she shares with Lauren and Lo.

But tabloid spies say there’s more to the latest Hills split than that: “They haven’t been getting along for a long time. Lauren thinks Audrina seems fake.”

Despite publicly rallying around Audrina after those tawdry nude photos of the twenty-one year old surfaced earlier this year, “The Laurens” were left “weirded out” by the shots of Audrina’s butt and bust plastered all over the Internet:

“They know Audrina loves the limelight, but they couldn’t believe it,” an In Touch spy gushed.

And there’s always the issue of Audrina’s loyalty to Speidi:

“Lauren is disappointed. She doesn’t want Heidi in her life and doesn’t understand why Audrina does.”

Complete with boyshorts and lots of mascara, Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag, Lauren Conrad, and Lo Bosworth, the ladies of The Hills, have found themselves plastered on this week’s cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.

It’s a chilly spring night in Los Angeles when I arrive at Don Antonio’s Mexican restaurant to join the End of Western Civilization for nachos and chicken enchiladas. The EOWC, of course, is Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, a.k.a. Speidi, the fabulously toxic power couple of The Hills — the real-ish MTV reality drama about L.A. twentysomethings praised as “the most influential show we’ve ever had” by MTV president of entertainment Brian Graden — and watching the fair-haired lovers stroll through their beloved Don Antonio’s feels like seeing Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe walk into the Stork Club back in the day. That is, if Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe were, instead of a sports hero and a legendary sex symbol, the irresistible villains of a maddeningly addictive TV show in which nothing ever really happens.

He’s referring to this afternoon’s cover photo shoot attended by Heidi and her three Hills castmates: Audrina Patridge, 22, Whitney Port, 23, and the show’s protagonist, Lauren Conrad, 22, with whom Heidi has been engaged in an ugly feud. Once best friends and roommates, the two women have spent the past year and a half bickering back and forth in celebrity weeklies — a rift that, depending on whom you talk to, stems from either a Lauren sex-tape story that Spencer and Heidi leaked to the press (Lauren’s version; they deny it), or Lauren’s jealousy of Spencer and Heidi (their version; Lauren denies it), or Spencer’s overall control-freakiness, or a cabal of genius MTV executives secretly pulling ratings/goosing strings behind a curtain. Whatever the case, the shoot was the first time Heidi and Lauren had been photographed, and not Photoshopped (as MTV has been forced to do), together in more than a year.
