Reps for Liza Minnelli have been forced to debunk rumors that the stage legend will make a guest apperance on the upcoming fourth season of Ugly Betty after she was spotted having dinner with show creator Silvio Horta, executive producer Richard Hues, and casting director Geoff Soffer in New York last week.

But alas, it is not to be.

“Liza is not scheduled to appear on ‘Ugly Betty.’ She is, however, going to be appearing in an episode of ‘Drop Dead Diva’ that airs on Lifetime on Sept. 6. Hope that clears things up.”

Michael Jackson’s good friend Liza Minnelli told CBS’ The Early Show Friday that she believes “All Hell’s Going To Break Loose,” once the late singer’s autopsy results are made public.

“All of us who knew him well really know what he was like,” the legendary singer in her own right told anchor Harry Smith. “And I’m sure that now the accolades are going, and I’m sure when the autopsy comes, all hell’s going to break loose. So, thank God we’re celebrating him now.”

“He was just a really splendid man,” Liza added. “I’m just devastated. He was such a good friend. And he was just a really splendid man. And a brilliant performer who changed theatrical history. I will miss him, I cannot tell you. I saw him all the time. He was so fascinated with everything. He wanted to learn. Once a week he’d have dinner – when he was in Hollywood he’d have dinner with Gregory Peck, and then another night he’d have dinner with Fred Astaire, and another night with Gene Kelly…”
