Paula Abdul “lives to dance!”
….Unfortunately for her, few people care.
She’s still “Forever Your Girl!” Paula Abdul’s dance reality competition, Live to Dance, debuted to mega-ratings for CBS this week.

Hurry, set your DVRs. Paula Abdul makes her eagerly-awaited return to the small screen this evening in the two-hour series premiere (8 PM – 10 PM) of the new CBS talent show Live to Dance.
The series, which will be judged and produced by Abdul, is the singer/choreographer’s first high-profile gig since leaving the judging panel of American Idol more than a year ago. The premiere will highlight early auditions. As show settles into its regular time slot (Wednesday at 8 PM EST), more contestants will be chosen to round out the cast of 18 dance acts that will travel to Los Angeles for subsequent, live broadcasts.
The winning act will get a grand prize of $500,000.

Live to Dance? More like Live to Diva!
Paula Abdul, 48, is hitting the promo track ahead of next week’s series premiere of Live to Dance, the singer/choreographer’s new CBS reality dance competition, but celebrity snoops say when the “dance expert” left American Idol for greener pastures in 2009, she took her loopy diva antics with her.

Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul returns to reality TV when her new series Live to Dance debuts with a two-hour series premiere on CBS Tuesday, Jan. 4.
The show will then move to its regular time slot — Wednesdays at 8 PM –which The Washington Post eloquently points out is the same night that Idol typically airs its weekly Results Show.
Clever scheduling, huh?
