Lisa Marie Presley has issued a plea imploring fans of pop icon Michael Jackson to send flowers to the late star’s grave, which has been noticeably empty since his burial at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles last summer.
The marriage certificate from Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley’s 1994 quickie wedding sold for $70,800 at an auction last weekend.
The original marriage certificate isssued to Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley following their Spring 1994 wedding in the Dominican Republic is set to go under the hammer.
The couple was issued the document, which boasts both stars’ signatures, following a 15-minute ceremony on May 26, 1994. The certificate will go up for auction at an estate sale by Philip Weiss Auctions in New York January 10.

Nothing says “Happy First Birthday” like a photo op!
Lisa Marie Presley and third hubby Michael Lockwood showed off twin girls Harper and Finley for Hello! Magazine as Elvis’s youngest grands celebrate their first birthday.
“We want desperately to preserve their purity, love and trust for as long as we can before people and life cause the inevitable souring and contamination,” the rock princess said of her two youngest children.
“It is incredible that we all start out so pure, so genuine, happy and trusting.”
Lisa Marie is currently in the UK, where she hopes to move permanentl.
“We have found the quality of life so much more enriching and fulfilling,” she said of the country. “The people and its beauty have reawakened me and have smoothed out some of my bleak and jagged views about people and life.”
Lisa Marie Presley and her hubby Michael Lockwood are introducing their newborn twin girls, Finley and Harper, born last October, in the January 26 issue of PEOPLE Magazine.
In the issue on newsstands this Friday, Lisa Marie, 40, says the road to pregnancy was a long one, explaining that she resorted to taking blood thinners in hopes of becoming pregnant.
“We tried to get pregnant for two years. My blood was too thick and would clot, which caused several miscarriages. The moment I took blood thinners, I got pregnant.”
