Tiger confirnmed via his Facebook page today that he is romantically involved with Olympic skiier, Lindsey Vonn. We had reported earlier that Tiger and Vonn were getting closer and when she suffered a tragic skiing accident last month, Tiger’s personal jet brought her back to the United States.
“This season has been great so far and I’m happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral,” Tiger writes on his Facebook page. “Something nice that’s happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating. We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.”

Two-time skiing world champion Lindsey Vonn was airlifted to an Austrian hospital Tuesday after crashing during the Alpine World Championships. This isn’t the first time the Vancouver downhill gold medalist has been injured on the slopes, but this is undoubtedly the most serious injury of Vonn’s career. A doctor speaking on behalf of the team reported significant damage to at least two ligaments in Vonn’s right knee, which will require surgery.
