Authorities in New York City have dropped hit and run charges against actress Lindsay Lohan, citing lack of evidence. The troubled starlet was taken into custody last month a pedestrian claimed LiLo clipped her with her luxury car.

But Lohan’s woes aren’t over yet; The pop tart’s sometimes estranged dad, Michael Lohan, is seeking a conservatorship for Lindsay. Why, you ask?

Well, he’s convinced she’s fallen into her old habits of alcohol and drug abuse.

Pouting and disrobing — Lindsay Lohan puts her best talents to good use in the teaser trailer for her upcoming raunchy cinema drama The Canyons.

Reminiscent of something we’d expect to see in film school, Lindsay rolls around in bed with former professional effer James Deen. Written by Bret Easton Ellis of American Psycho fame, The Canyons follows a group of twentysomethings in Hollywood whose sexual obsessions and personal ambitions land them in deep trouble.

The Canyons is expected to hit theaters sometime next year
