Lindsay Lohan posted a close-up snap of her trout pout on Twitter.com in a bid to kill off rumors that she had her lips plumped up with collagen injections.

In a message accompanying her close-up, LiLo Tweeted: “Why are all of my friends asking me if I have a cut on my lip? Lol coz I don’t…..see! my lips are just as they’ve always been :) lol-it’s nuts that i feel the need to give proof!”

Did the on-again/off-again romance between Lindsay Lohan and celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson turn violent? Celebrity tattles claim the troubled actress was regularly beaten up by Ronson — and she had the scars to prove it.

“One time I saw Lindsay and she had a large welt on her head. She told me that Sam beat the s**t out of her. She also said that Sam even punched and choked her one time,” a mutual pal spilled to RadarOnline.com this week.

Although they have officially broken up, the two women still have regular contact with each other, which makes things hard on Lindsay. “It’s so twisted. They’re not together, but they are. I never thought I’d ever say this, but I really do feel sorry for Lindsay. She is just lost. She’s alone. She has no friends to turn to.”

Award-winning R&B crooner/producer Ne-Yo isn’t holding out much hope of ever laying down any more tracks with actress Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay Lohan prompted speculation that she is about thisclose to becoming a cat lady when she revealed that she’s a borderline celebrity hoarder during an interview with The Insider this week. Now the unstable former child star stands accused of scrapping in a crowded nightclub with ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

LiLo was allegedly involved in a vicious public argument with Ronson on Wednesday, which ended with the actress throwing a drink over her former lover.
