Lenny Kravitz admits that he sometimes struggles with his self-imposed ban on sex.

The singer has been celibate for four years with the hope that lovemaking will be better after he’s married.

Now 45, Lenny hope that he won’t be waiting too much longer to meet the right woman.

“I think sex and intimacy and all that is very important,” he tells Telegraph Magazine. “It’s just that I’m going to do it with my wife, and not everybody else.”

“For some periods of time it’s easy, and then it’s really hard. It goes back and forth,” Lenny says.

“It’s not hard just walking through life, and you see women, and I admire them – I love being around women, but if you’re seeing someone, you’ve got to explain, “Well, this is what I’m doing in life – so that’s not going to be part of it.”‘

Lenny says Cynthia Rodriguez fled the Big Apple after reports that her husband has been having an affair with pop star Madonna reached the press on Tuesday-and as a friend he opened his Paris home to her.

“There is absolutely no affair between Cynthia Rodriguez and myself,” Lenny tells Us Weekly. “This is unequivocally 100% not true. Cynthia is a friend and is here (in Paris) with the godfather of her baby, who is also Alex’s trainer, his wife and their baby girl….She came here to escape from everything happening in New York City. I opened my home to her as a friend and I find it extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer.”

The New York Yankees third baseman’s marriage has gone belly-up after reports surfaced this week accusing the couple of secret affairs with recording artists Madonna and Lenny Kravitz, respectively. Lenny Kravitz has postponed his It is Time for a Love Revolution European tour after being hospitalized in Miami with bronchitis on Monday. The tour was scheduled to begin February 18 in London.

“I am extremely disappointed that I am not able to come to Europe to see everyone and also perform. Unfortunately I need to take this time to rest and get healthy and so I was forced to make this decision,” Lenny said in statement to Associated Press.

Lenny Kravitz was hospitalized in Miami on Monday suffering from an extreme case of bronchitis, a spokesperson for the singer has announced. The forty-three year old Lenny was in the M.I.A promoting his new LP, It is Time for a Love Revolution, which dropped on February 5th.

The singer had been suffering from a series of severe respiratory tract infections stemming from the flu since mid-january, and the illness evolved into bronchitis.

In a statement obtained by the Associated Press, Lenny’s rep stated: “Due to extreme dehydration and fatigue, doctors were unable to control it with outpatient treatment and advised the singer to check into the hospital. He was taken this morning to the emergency room at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami for immediate treatment.”
