Former Hills star Lauren Conrad is returning to familiar terrority after inking a deal to front another reality docu-series on MTV.
After six seasons, a bevy onscreen breakdowns, and the spawning of Speidi, the sun is finally setting on MTV’s once-polarizing reality soap, The Hills. And we hear a familiar face is coming back to celebrate the end of the series — although not in the way fans originally thought.

Lauren Conrad, former Hills protagonist-turned best-selling novelist, will make an appearance on the series finale of the reality show, scheduled to air later this month.

Lauren Conrad is a New York Times Bestselling Author a second time over. This week, the second novel from the former reality starlet and fashionista, Sweet Little Lies, hit No. 1 on the publication’s coveted list of the nation’s most sought after reads.
Sweet Little Lies — released earlier this month — is the follow-up to L.C.’s semi-autobiographical 2009 novel, L.A. Candy.
“It’s so gratifying for my second book to be so successful and it was so fun to write! The characters were already developed, so I really enjoyed the process so much more this time around,” The Hillscastaway told PEOPLE Magazine on Friday. “All the characters have become like my friends now.”
Lauren Conrad loves Jersey Shore.
According to OK! Magazine, the former reality star — who departed The Hills last year after five seasons — has become a regular viewer of The Hills newest competitor.
