Lauren Conrad guest stars on the FOX animated comedy Family Guy next Sunday, May 3.
“The idea in the episode is that they make fun of me for being dumb and then discover that I’m actually a genius, and that [Lauren Conrad is] kind of a character I play [on TV], because America likes dumb people.”
This week, the star of MTV’s The Hills revealed that she hired an acting coach to help her understand the “big words” and “complicated” scenes featured throughout her appearance.
It’s unclear what the future holds for Lauren Conrad once she ends her five season run on MTV’s The Hills later this year –but our crystal ball tells us that it sure as heck won’t be acting!
The reality personality secured the services of an acting coach to help her get through a guest appearance on the animated FOX comedy Family Guy.

Lauren Conrad is getting animated. Although her days as a MTV reality star are numbered, The Hills star will guest star as a character on the envelope-pushing animated FOX series Family Guy on Monday, May 3.
“She dates Brian for an episode,” show creator Seth MacFarlane told PEOPLE Monday, referring to the dog on the show that behaves like a human.
The upcoming fifth season of The Hills will be the last for series star Lauren Conrad, but as far as on-screen frenemy Heidi Montag is concerned, the show will go on just fine once LC hits the bricks.
“We don’t need her,” Heidi told MTV News on Friday. “We’ll miss her. I just don’t know if we need her.”

Lauren Conrad is clearing up confusion over the future of her clothing line with a message to fans on her MySpace Celebrity page.
LC insists her high-end Lauren Conrad Collection has not be forced out of business by a crippled economy, as fans feared following an announcement that the MTV reality star had decided to take a break from designing.
The line has simply gone “on hiatus” so that Lauren an make her threads even more desirable for fans; Lauren assures us that she’s not giving up on fashion.
“The truth is I was the one who asked to take a couple seasons off. I learned so much in the past year and I want to apply that to the improvement of my clothing line.”

After five seasons of friendships, feuds, and fashion, Lauren Conrad is shutting off the camera and turning her back on The Hills.
The 23-year-old designer says ending her run on the wildly-successful MTV reality show is the only way to keep her sanity intact.
“There are episodes that I watch when I actually annoy myself. I just want to be like, ‘Get it together!’”
