Chance King has been tapped to host a new show for FOX Sports Net called “Kid Pitch,” a rep for Larry King Live has confirmed to TMZ.com.

“I couldn’t be more excited for Chance; he really knows and loves baseball, and will be one heck of an anchor,” says the CNN host and proud pop, who adds that Chance’s younger brother, 9-year-old Cannon, will also appear on the show. “Both boys are cute and huge sports fans – what more could you ask for?” King added.

The show, which will start filming in February, will focus on kids talking about baseball, in addition to interviews with Major League Baseball players.

Tempers flared between the ladies of The View on Thursday morning as the gals cackled about Carrie Prejean’s controversial appearance on Larry King Live last night. In case you missed it, the former Miss California — and recently-outed amateur porn star — removed her microphone and threatened to walk off the show after Larry asked her why she settled a lawsuit with pageant organizers.

The dethoned Miss California also defended the sex tape she made “doing very graphic things to her body.”
Prejean admits the recording is real and takes “complete responsibility” for the tape she filmed at 17.

“There’s a video out there of me that I sent to my boyfriend at the time. And it was for private use. But does that justify my actions? No. And I take complete responsibility for the decisions that I made when I was a teenager. And I’ve learned a lot from it,” she explained.

“It’s so important to realize that nothing is private anymore. I’m not perfect, and I’ve made mistakes, and I have learned from it. But I think that the biggest thing is that you own up to it, you take responsibility, and you just move forward.”

“The reason I don’t think it’s healthy for them is that we’re going through a divorce right now, and I don’t think it should be televised and I think my kids should be taken off the show,” Gosselin said.

While his estranged wife Kate allegedly wants to keep the show going “for financial reasons,” Jon told Larry, “I need to be a father. I need to take my kids off the show.” He also said he wants to put the brakes on his divorce.

“I’m here to apologize to Kate,” he continued. “I’ve made mistakes.” When asked if he has spoken to Kate recently, Jon said, “I’ve tried. She doesn’t want to talk to me.”

On Monday, CNN released clips on Brown’s interview on Larry King Live, in which the host can be heard asking Brown, “Do you remember doing it?” referring to the beating of his former girlfriend in the early hours of February 8, to which the crooner Brown is heard in the clip replying, “No.”

Early Tuesday, Brown stepped forward to clarify his remarks.

“There have been reports on the Internet that I didn’t remember what happened that night with Rihanna. I want to try and set things straight. That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one-hour interview during which that same question was asked something like 4 or 5 times — and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said,” Brown says.

“The first four times — or how ever many times it was — I gave the same answer — which was that I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. I said it was not right for me and it really wasn’t fair to Rihanna. The fifth time — or whatever it was — I just misspoke. I was asked, “Do you remember doing it?” and I said, ‘No,’” the statement reads.

“Of course I remember what happened. Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterwards and told her everything. But it was and still is a blur. And yes, I still can’t believe it happened because it is not me or who I am or is…like anything I have ever done before,” he continues.

“As I have said several times previously, I am ashamed of and sorry for what happened that night and I wish I could relive that moment and change things, but I can’t. I take full responsibility for my actions. What I have to do now is to prove to the world that this was an isolated incident and that is not who I am and I intend to do so by my behavior now and in the future. ”

He adds, “I feel like there’s no need to make any excuses. At all. I want to find out what really transpired as far as me that night. I just want to talk to [the counselor], someone who has dealt with this and has an expertise because I think it would be helpful for me to learn how to channel [the anger] and understand my feelings.”

“I just need to prove to people I can be a role model,” Brown, who was accompanied by his mother, Joyce Hawkins, and lawyer Mark Geragos during the interview at CNN Headquarters in Hollywood last Wednesday. “That’s not who I am as a person, and that’s not who I promise I want to be,” the singer laments.

In a “no-holds barred” interview that will air next week, the R&B crooner spoke to the talk show host at CNN’s studios in Los Angeles. Brown was accompanied by his mother Joyce Hawkins and his attorney Mark Geragos.

In June, the singer was found guilty of brutally attacking Rihanna after a furious fight after a pre-Grammy party. Brown was accused of viciously punching, biting, and threatening to kill Rihanna. Earlier this week, the “Forever” hitmaker was sentenced to five years probation and six months hard community labor for the assault.
