The original Octomom — who announced her separation from estranged husband Jon Gosselin on the family’s TLC series earlier this year — will appear in an exclusive primetime interview on Larry King Live Tuesday night @ 9PM ET.

Larry Birkhead is ready for a “reality check.”

The father of Anna Nicole Smith’s 2-year-old daughter, Dannielynn, will begin showing off his parenting skills in a new reality show scheduled to premiere on E! in 2009.

The still untitled unscripted series will follow Larry’s life as a single dad, which includes raising Dannielynn, running a business, and home-schooling his 18-year-old nephew, Justin, whose father passed away.

Larry says it was Tori Spelling, who fronts a wildly popular reality show of her own on the Oxygen Network, encouraged him to do the show,telling him, “Dean and I will support you. Why not? Your life is out there anyway.”

“My life in the last couple of years has been a reality show,” Larry explained in a interview with ET on Thursday. “There’s been so many things out there that are not true, and there are so many things that I’ve taken a lot of beatings for and I haven’t set the record straight; nobody knows the true reality of how I live and what I go through.”

He adds, “I’m changing diapers one minute, going to a basketball court the next minute, going to a concert — here, there, you know, stores — so it’s tough.”

Larry Birkhead spent nearly $3,000 on Anna Nicole Smith’s underwear over the weekend.

The photographer, who fathered a daughter, named Dannielynn, with Anna Nicole, purchased a pink bustier once wore by the late Playboy Playmate for $1,800 and a white negligee priced at $1,000 at a celebrity auction in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Larry claims he bought the items as heirlooms for the couple’s young daughter, stating that the purchases will help 1-year-old daughter Dannielynn learn her mother’s life story when she’s old enough.

“Playboy was such a big part of Anna’s career….You know, it’s not something I can show today, but something down the road…..It’s not going to be in any bedtime stories anytime soon.”

Anna Nicole Smith’s one year old daughter is cross-eyed, her father Larry Birkhead tells the press. Dannielynn, who has recently been rumored to be sporting an eyepatch, suffers from an eye condition known strabismus. The eyepatch is used to cover the strong eye in an effort to strengthen the weak one, but Dannielynn may have to undergo surgery.

“She has strabismus, which is a turning in of one of her eyes, and it’s something that we’ve been looking out for for a while,” Larry tells ET’s MARK STEINES. “I’ve been taking her to the doctors and … Anna had taken Dannielynn to the doctor [in the Bahamas] to see about it when she was just a few months old.”

“I got her a little pirate doll to show her that people wear patches, and it’s okay,” says Larry, “and daddy wears a patch if he has to to show her it’s okay. I’ve been really aggressive with the patch as much as I can be. At first she was really open to it and it didn’t really bother her. Now, she’s gotten a little smart because she can pull it off, so it’s a little bit harder for me to patch her.”

“I’m going to do everything to make sure that it’s corrected,” Larry says, “but having lost Anna and [her son] DANIEL and my dad — my dad just came out of a simple surgery and he died — it’s just tough for me to think about surgeries with [Dannielynn].”

“All of the opinions that I had [from doctors], every one of them said that it’s very, very unlikely, because no one knows one-hundred percent what causes [strabismus],” says Larry. “But I point-blank ask every single doctor, ‘Could any medications that Anna was on have caused this?’ and they said that it’s more likely that a genetic reason could have caused it.”

With Anna Nicole Smith’s little moneymaker, Dannielynn, secured tightly in his grasp, thirty-four year old closet case Larry Birkhead has fingered Britney Spears’ millions as his Most Desired New Beard. The blonde has a crush on the bald pop star and has been going out of his way to be set up with her.

An In Touch Weekly reports claims: “Either be a match made in heaven or the biggest disaster since the Titanic, but according to an insider, Larry Birkhead has a crush on Britney Spears.”

“I think Britney is sexy,” a Larry mole tells In Touch of the photographer’s interest in Spears. “Larry has a thing for vulnerable blondes — and no one seems more vulnerable than Britney these days.”

“Larry wants to find someone who already has kids so they can raise their families together, just like the Brady Bunch,” his pal says. “He’s trying hard to get fixed up with Britney.”

OK! Magazine is accusing Larry Birkhead, who is currently rumored to have engaged in a gay tryst with Anna Nicole Smith’s fiance Howard K. Stern, of being a deadbeat dad who is using daughter Dannielynn as a publicity horse.

“OK!’s experience with Larry has been….repeated requests to the editorial staff to make himself look more appealing to the reader and to write a story denying rumors about his sexual preference. Larry also requested that OK! arrange for him to have designer suits to wear to the Kentucky Derby.

OK! has also witnessed Larry’s selfish behavior firsthand. During the magazine’s first shoot with Dannielynn and Larry, he appeared more concerned with his hair than the baby. Afterward, while going through the photographs, Larry preferred several shots where Dannielynn was not looking into the camera or not looking her best because he thought he looked better in them. Of note is the fact that, in some of these situations, Dannielynn seemed to be looking off at Howard’s more familiar face. Larry also seemed to be using Dannielynn almost like a prop, willing to pass Dannielynn off rather quickly to Howard once the cameras stopped rolling.”

After claiming that Anna Nicole-exes Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern engaged in a sexual encounter, former news anchor Rita Cosby claims that she has been in contact with several people with ownership of a sultry sex tape starring The Photographer and The Lawyer. Rita is readying a new tell-all book on former Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith, “Blonde Ambition…The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith’s Death,” for publication.

In a new tell-all about Anna Nicole Smith former MSNBC journalist Rita Cosby alleges that Anna’s exes Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead were secret gay lovers. “Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith’s Death” describes a brief tryst between the men, and Jackie Hatten, a friend of Anna Nicole’s, claims she found Howie and Larry with their shirts off and pants around their ankles, engaged in oral sex.

“Their bodies were intermingled,” Hatten says, according to a copy of the book obtained by the New York Daily News. “It was obvious what was happening.”

“If she printed that then she is really getting sued,” Larry, who lost out on a $1.7 million picture deal with OK! last week over the reports of a gay affair with Howard, has said.

“If she printed that then she is really getting sued,” Birkhead yelled. “My attorneys are going after her and that is absolutely false. And I am sure Howard and the estate and everyone else involved is going to sue her too. This is just nonsense.”

She got fired and nobody wanted her,” he continues. “The last story she did was on Anna and now she is doing this book because no one will hire her.”

Howard Stern’s attorney tells the NY Daily News the claims are “false and defamatory.” “It appears that Ms. Cosby has joined the ranks of tabloid journalists who are willing to publish the print equivalent of sewerage to engage in character assassination for profit.”

The book accuses Howard and Larry of cutting a secret deal after Anna Nicole was buried in March, with Birkhead getting custody of Dannielynn in return for Stern being named executor of the star’s estate.

OK! Magazine has snagged “explosive allegations” against photographer Larry Birkhead that has the once L.B-friendly weekly pulling out of their contract to run pics of Dannielynn’s first birthday bash.

“Newly obtained allegations are detailed, shocking and potentially incriminating. Furthermore, it makes it impossible for OK!, in good conscience, to promote this family’s highly questionable relationship in our pages. Next week’s issue of OK! will bring all of the unfortunate, relevant details to light.”

Editor in chief Sarah Ivens, who, in case it wasn’t clear, plans to reveal the allegations in next week’s issue, says this:

“It breaks my heart that OK! has to pull out of a shoot that would have chronicled the next great chapter of Dannielynn’s life. That sort of celebration is what the magazine enjoys most. But first and foremost, we—and I—care dearly about the well-being of the young one, and my moral obligation lies with her. So, it’s unfortunate, but at the moment, my biggest fear is that Larry and Howard may have tricked us all.”
