There’s a new bromance blooming in Hollywood — and it’s between Zac Efron and Lance Bass!

Sources tell Star Magazine the gay former boy bander and the metrosexual heartbreaker have grown very close in recent months and have taken up daily gabfests by phone.

According to the Star insider: “They’ve grown very close. They talk a few times a week at least.”

Zac even bought a special birthday gift for his new bro.

“He got him a rocket pendant on a chain, since Lance loves space and wanted to travel to the moon.”

“It was the night of her first wedding, actually. I was in Vegas with her, her dancers, her manager, and my boyfriend at the time . . . In his memoir, Out of Sync, gay boybander Lance Bass admits he was angry that Justin Timberlake waited two years after the group went on hiatus in 2002 to reveal his intention to launch a solo career.
