Lance Armstrong is a daddy once again!

The seven-time Tour de France champ thought his baby-making days were done after he was diagnosed with testicular cancer a few years ago, but on Thursday Lance announced the arrival of his new baby boy in a Twitter message to fans. Baby Max weighs 7 pounds, 5 ounces and is 20 inches long. This is the biker dad’s first child with girlfriend Anna Hansen.

“Wassup, world? My name is Max Armstrong and I just arrived. My Mommy is healthy and so am I!” a proud Lance tweeted on his newborn son’s behalf.

Sheryl Crow’s “biological clock” caused the singer’s 2006 split from cyclist Lance Armstrong, the Tour de France champ reveals in an upcoming biography. Lance, which was written by John Wilcockson, arrives on booksellers’ shelves this summer.

Lance began dating the “Soak Up The Sun” hitmaker his divorce from Kristin Richards — the mother of his three children — in September 2003. Lance and Sheryl announced their engagement in 2005 only to breakup the next year.

“She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn’t want that, but I didn’t want that at that time because I had just gotten out of a marriage, I’d just had kids [Luke, Grace and Bella],” Lance says in the book. “Yet we’re up against her biological clock — that pressure is what cracked it.”

Sheryl, now 47, adopted a baby boy, Wyatt Steven, in 2008.

Lance Armstrong underwent clavicle surgery on Wednesday–and he Tweeted every step of the way.

On Monday, Lance fell off of his bike and was injured following a cyclists’ pile-up in the Vuelta a Castilla y Leon race in Spain.

“I’m alive! Broken clavicle (right). Hurts like hell for now. Surgery in a couple of days. Thanks for all the well wishes,” the Tour de France champ later Tweeted.

Early Wednesday, Lance logged on to the social networking site again, where he kept fans abreast durig a CT scan.

“About to head in. See y’all in a few. Livestrong,” he wrote on his Twitter page on Wednesday morning, posting a picture of himself in the hospital.

Lance is now recuperating from the three-hour surgery on his collarbone, whic was broken in four pieces and stabilized with a steel plate and 12 screws, his surgeon tells the Associated Press.

Cycling champion Lance Armstrong has been hospitalized after taking a fall during the first stage of the five-day Vuelta of Castilla and Leon Race in Spain on Monday.

The seven-time Tour de France winner may have injured his collarbone in the fall, the Associated Press reports.

Lance, a testicular cancer survivor, is expecting a child with his girlfriend, Anna Hansen.

Despite going through treatment for testicular cancer, this is Lance Armstrong’s first natural baby. That’s what you call a remarkable recovery.

In other news, less than one month after Hansen gives birth, Armstrong will be racing in the 2009 Tour de France.

Kate Hudson has ended her short-lived summer romance with cyclist Lance Armstrong, according to new reports.

Sources said they tried to make it work, but the constant bickering and their travel schedules drove them apart, the New York Post dished Wednesday.

“There was no drama or ugliness — they just decided to end things,” an Us Magazine spy adds. “There is no hatred, just sadness.”

On his Tuesday morning appearance on The View, cyclist Lance Armstrong responded to rumors that he is dating actress Kate Hudson by simply saying that when it comes to his personal life his lips don’t flap.

“No. 1: I know that you have to ask that question. No. 2: It’s my right not to answer it,” the Tour de France champion told the cast of The View on Tuesday.

Lance Armstrong is insisting he is not a ‘dirty old man’ after facing a bout of teasing and controversy over his new found romance with twenty-one year old Ashley Olsen.

“I’m not a dirty old man,” an embarrassed Lance recently explained to friends.

“Lance is embarrassed at the teasing he’s getting. He had no idea that it would get into the papers that he was making out with Ashley,” a friend tells the National Enquirer.

Despite claims from Armstrong family members that the one time Tour de France champ is using the young Olsen, Enquirer moles say their love is real:

“….She’s certainly not after my money,” Lance is telling friends. “She’s worth way more than I am!”
