Two of the biggest pop divas in music today are joining forces. Former VMA rivals Beyonce and Lady Gaga are going half on an upcoming music video that will accompany Bey’s new single, “Video Phone,” industry tattles snitch. “On Oct. 7, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé were working on the video together at a studio in NYC,” a spywitness reveals in the October 26 issue of Life & Style. “Everything on the set was being kept very hush-hush, and security was extremely tight.”
The girls — both known for their elaborate costumes and action-packed stage shows — and the video promises plenty of that, sources say: “In the video, Beyoncé wears a feathered dress. And of course Lady Gaga wears something wild. The fashion is sick and insane.”
Are you gaga for Lady Gaga? Well, you’re in luck. The eccentric pop sensation is re-releasing her platinum-selling debut album, The Fame. The pop star says the 2008 charttopper will be re-titled The Fame Monster and will include 8 new songs, in addition to Billboard hits like “Poker Face,” “Paparazzi,” and “LoveGame.”
“On my re-release of The Fame Monster, I wrote about everything I didn’t write on The Fame. While traveling the world for two years, I’ve encountered several monsters, each represented by a different song on the new record,” Gaga revealed in an interview with MTV News last Friday. Lady Gaga imagined an America filled with equality during the Human Rights Campaign’s National Equality dinner in Washington on Saturday night. “I’m not going to play one of my songs tonight. Tonight is not about me. It’s about you,” she said before breaking into John Lennon’s classic, just hours before the National Equality March on Washington. Gaga’s version changed John’s lyrics to reference Matthew Shepard, the 21-year-old college student whose beating death in Wyoming in 1998 inspired government legislation against hate crimes which was passed earlier this year.

Just weeks after announcing dates for “Fame Kills: Featuring Kanye West & Lady Gaga,” tour promoters cancelled the North American tour on Thursday.
“Live Nation announced today that the Kanye West and Lady Gaga ‘Fame Kills’ tour has been canceled,” promoters said in a statement issued this evening.
