The pop icon and the television news stalwart are teaming up for “A Very Gaga Thanksgiving,” airing Thanksgiving Night on ABC.

On Wednesday, the pop star announced that she is launching the Born This Way Foundation, a charitable project to support young people and fight bullying. The non-profit effort, headed by the singer and her mom, Cynthia Germanotta, will support “youth empowerment and equality by addressing issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development.” The project, named after the title track from Gaga’s platinum-selling 2011 album, will also “utilize digital mobilization as one of the means to create positive change,” according to a statement.
